From the Principal’s Desk

“The purpose of Education is to replace an empty mind with an open one”.
Imparting quality education has become a challenging job today as. “Education is
not the filling of a pail, but lighting of a fire” in the young, tender minds to explore
and unveil the mysteries of the world. We at HAL strive to satiate their thirst for
knowledge by giving them a good congenial environment for their emotional
growth along with intellectual excellence. This empowers students to develop self
esteem, self awareness and self confidence. We treasure dynamism and deem that
one should be well prepared to adapt to the global scenario and work on his
learning accordingly.
It gives me immense pleasure to accept that ours is the most sought after school
which has proved its mettle in the last three decades and changed scores of lives.
Everyday, I have the privilege of witnessing enthusiastic, inquisitive children
achieve transformation for themselves under the able guidance of devoted and
dedicated mentors. The alumni of school well settled across the globe are a
glaring example of their cherishable and vivid learning experience. The school has
taken quantum leap in integrating information and communication technology
into classroom teaching and learning process. We take the onus of nurturing the
latent talent and interpersonal skills. We as torch bearers would continue to
spread the light of knowledge.

Dear Parents

The almanac is meant primarily to note down home work and is also a convenient  means of communication between the teachers and the parents. In the interest of the children, parents are requested to go through the entries in the almanac and sign the teacher’s remarks entered for their information.

It is emphasized in the school that home work should be set of topics with which the children are familiar and the unknown world should be explored in the classroom with the help of teachers.  Parents may guide their wards to help them out of certain difficult situations. It should be noted that any comment made here in must refer only to the student’s work and conduct. The purpose will not be served if any criticism of the teaching methods or conditions at home figures in the pages bringing the home and the school at variance with each other. Such criticism if necessary can be conveyed in writing to me and I will certainly look into the matter in consultation with my staff.

If this almanac is made an effective link between parents and teachers, the teachers will be second parents to your child.

Your valuable suggestions are welcome. I look forward for constant help, support and co-operation from you.

Thank You
